Our program is designed to maximize your swallowing potential in the least amount of time required. After your INITIAL CONSULTATION, the program will consist of 30 minute sessions  multiple times a week for multiple weeks. Our program typically last 10-12 weeks. Most desired results can be achieved within this time frame, however are not guaranteed. Extension past the initial 10-12 week period is possible based on the needs of the patient and can be customized to meet the needs of the patient.

 

The Swallowing Clinic of NELA does not guarantee complete elimination of swallowing difficulties upon completion of the program due to the fact that muscle response to our therapy varies from patient to patient. We will however do everything in our power via utilization of technology and expertise to achieve all of your swallowing goals.
